Should Woman In The Workplace Wear Makeup Everyday

Walk into merely nearly any role workplace and you'll find that the majority of the women sat at their desks will exist wearing makeup.

Though she's not the kind to rock a full face of makeup on the daily, Salina admits at that place are certain professional situations where going bare faced only isn't an choice – job interviews beingness one.

Dr. Tara Well, a professor of psychology at Columbia University, explained to Inc. that makeup plays a major role in how women are perceived in the workplace, with colleagues and managers judging a adult female'due south competence, among other things, in part based on her makeup.

"[They] may make the inference that if a adult female wears some makeup, she takes intendance of herself and, therefore she'll take care of other people, projects, etc.," Dr Well said.
